TaxFunders Financial Group LLC
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 19, 2026
At TaxFunders Financial Group, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency in how your personal information is collected, used, and safeguarded.
This Privacy Policy explains how TaxFunders Financial Group LLC (“TaxFunders,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information through our Credit and Financial Strategy pages at credit.taxfunders.com (in English and Spanish), our forms, our free consultations, and our Credit & Financial Strategy, Financial Reset, and Tax Preparation services. Until our new website launches, www.taxfunders.com remains covered by its own privacy policy; from that launch, this policy also covers www.taxfunders.com, including the contact form and Free Learning Center described below.
1. Information We Collect
TaxFunders Financial Group LLC collects personal information based on the services individuals request and the information necessary to provide those services.
Website Visitors and Prospective Clients
When you visit our website, download educational resources, request information, or schedule a consultation, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, appointment details, financial goals you choose to share, and other information you voluntarily provide.
When you visit our website, we and our service providers may also automatically collect technical information, such as your IP address and an approximate location derived from it, browser and device information, the pages you view, the website that referred you, and advertising campaign parameters included in the link you used.
Our New Website’s Contact Form
When our new website launches, its contact form will ask for:
- your first name, last name, and email address (required);
- the service you are asking about (required): Credit & Financial Strategy, Tax Preparation, Financial Reset Program, Credit Strategy and Tax Prep together, the free Credit Blueprint, or a general question;
- optionally, your phone number, an approximate current credit score range that you select yourself, your primary financial goal, and a message; and
- an optional text-message consent checkbox, which is unchecked unless you check it (see Section 4).
Its submissions will be received and stored through Netlify Forms, the form service of our website host, Netlify.
Free Educational Resources: The Credit Blueprint and the Learning Center
To receive the free Credit Blueprint, you complete a short form with your first name and email address; a phone number is optional. The form includes a separate, optional text-message consent checkbox, unchecked by default, and a required checkbox to accept our Terms & Conditions. The Credit Blueprint is delivered to you by email.
When our new website launches, articles in its Free Learning Center will be readable without creating an account or providing personal information, and the Learning Center pages will contain no forms. The share options on an article will use your own device’s sharing feature, copy the link, or open Facebook or your email program; choosing Facebook takes you to Facebook, which is governed by its own policies.
Consultations
Free consultations are scheduled through Calendly. When you book, Calendly collects your name and email address and your answers to our booking questions. For a Credit & Financial Strategy consultation, these cover your financial and credit goal, whether and when you plan to apply for a home, vehicle, or other major financing in the next 12 months, what you would most like help understanding during your consultation, and how you heard about us. For a Financial Reset consultation, they cover your main financial and credit goal and, optionally, other details about your current financial situation.
After you book a Credit & Financial Strategy consultation, you are directed to complete a free consultation registration on our Credit Repair Cloud platform, described below.
Credit and Financial Strategy Services
When you register for credit-related services through our secure Credit Repair Cloud platform, we may collect additional information necessary to establish your identity, review your credit profile, and provide authorized services. This may include your date of birth, Social Security number, identification documents, credit reports, and relevant account information.
The free consultation registration asks for your name, email address, telephone number, date of birth, Social Security number, and mailing address, and asks you to review and sign the agreement provided before your consultation. Our “Get Started” page asks for your first name, last name, email address, and phone number.
To prepare your consultation and, if you enroll, to provide services, you set up an account with Credit Hero Score, a separate credit monitoring service. That account gives us access to your three-bureau credit reports and scores so we can prepare your personalized credit analysis.
While we provide credit services, we may also receive copies of correspondence you receive from the credit bureaus and, if you report identity theft, documents such as a police report and an identity theft report filed with the Federal Trade Commission.
Financial Reset and Financial Coaching
Financial Reset is personalized coaching for budgeting, cash flow, debt management, savings, and accountability. When you book a Financial Reset consultation or take part in the program, you may choose to share information about your finances, such as your income, expenses, budget, debts, savings, credit, and financial goals.
Tax Preparation and Financial Documents
For tax preparation and services requiring supporting financial documentation, TaxFunders uses separate systems, including TaxDome for secure document collection and TaxWise for tax return preparation.
Information submitted through these systems may include tax returns, income documents, pay stubs, bank statements, identification information, and other records necessary for the requested service. Tax clients may also provide information about their families and dependents as needed to prepare their returns, as well as information on interview forms, client organizers, and worksheets.
These documents are not collected through the public credit funnel.
Payments
If you purchase a paid service, we collect the payment information needed to charge for that service under your service agreement.
Reviews and Testimonials
We may display reviews that clients have posted publicly, for example on Google or Facebook, and testimonials that clients have given us permission to share.
2. How We Use Your Information
We may use information collected to:
- Respond to inquiries and provide requested educational resources.
- Schedule, confirm, and prepare for consultations.
- Verify identity and establish authorized client accounts.
- Review credit reports and provide contracted credit and financial strategy services.
- Provide Financial Reset coaching and education.
- Prepare tax returns and provide related tax preparation services.
- Process payments for services you purchase.
- Communicate about appointments, documents, accounts, services, and customer support.
- Send educational or promotional communications when permitted by applicable law and the recipient’s communication preferences.
- Understand how visitors reach our pages, including through advertising campaigns, and protect our forms against automated submissions.
- Maintain business records, protect our systems, and meet legal and regulatory obligations.
Tax return information is used and disclosed only as described in Section 3, “Tax Return Information.”
3. Service Providers and Information Sharing
TaxFunders uses authorized service providers to support our business operations and the services you request. Depending on the service, they support:
- client management, including consultation registration, agreement signing, client accounts, and client records;
- credit monitoring and access to your credit reports;
- consultation scheduling;
- secure document collection and processing;
- tax return preparation;
- payment processing;
- email, text-message, and other communications; and
- website hosting, form delivery and security, and other website operations.
Information may be processed by these authorized providers on our behalf to support the services you request, subject to applicable confidentiality, privacy, and legal obligations.
Credit monitoring for our credit services is provided by Credit Hero Score, a separate subscription billed by Credit Hero Score. Your Credit Hero Score account gives us access to your three-bureau credit reports and scores so we can prepare your personalized credit analysis, and Credit Hero Score handles your account under its own terms and privacy policy.
To provide credit services, we send dispute correspondence in your name and on your behalf to credit reporting agencies, such as Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion, and to creditors and other companies that furnish information to them, and we receive their responses.
Apart from the service providers described above, no outside company currently handles our client files or performs our credit-service operations. We may engage authorized service providers to assist with our services in the future.
TaxFunders does not treat a customer’s authorization to receive services as unlimited permission to disclose personal information for unrelated purposes.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may also disclose information when required by law, as otherwise permitted by law, or when you authorize us to do so.
Tax Return Information
Tax return information is subject to separate federal restrictions on its use and disclosure, including section 7216 of the Internal Revenue Code and its regulations. We use tax return information to prepare your return and to provide the tax services you request. We do not use tax return information to market our Credit & Financial Strategy or Financial Reset services. Before using or disclosing tax return information for any other purpose, we will obtain any consent that federal law requires.
4. Email and Text Communications
TaxFunders may send appointment confirmations, onboarding information, account updates, and other communications related to services individuals request.
Individuals who download educational resources may also receive educational follow-up emails. Promotional email communications will include applicable opt-out options.
Marketing text messages are distinct from service-related notifications. TaxFunders will obtain consent when required before sending marketing text messages and will honor applicable opt-out requests.
Submitting a telephone number alone does not automatically constitute consent to all forms of marketing communication. Our forms offer text-message consent as a separate, optional checkbox that is unchecked unless you check it. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For assistance, reply HELP or contact us directly.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent records will not be sold or shared with any third party for its own marketing or for other unrelated purposes. Authorized messaging providers may process this information on our behalf to send our messages and to record your consent and opt-out choices.
5. Cookies, Browser Storage, Website Analytics, and Advertising
Our websites and embedded third-party services may use cookies, local browser storage, and related technologies to support website functionality, recognize interactions, measure performance, and understand how visitors reach our pages.
For example, embedded forms may collect referral information, advertising campaign parameters, and technical information associated with form visits.
The educational-resource forms on our websites are provided through our Credit Repair Cloud platform. They may assign your device an identifier and record form visits. After you submit a form, the contact information you entered (such as your name, email address, telephone number and text-message preference) may be stored in your browser so the form can be pre-filled on later visits; this information remains until you clear your browser data, and a related identifier cookie may remain for up to one year. The forms also use Cloudflare security technology to help prevent automated submissions.
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser information when a page loads.
Our Credit and Financial Strategy pages do not currently include advertising pixels (such as the Meta Pixel), Google Analytics, or other analytics tools, and our new website will not include them when it launches. The tracking described in this section comes from the embedded and linked services named here. If we add advertising measurement tools, such as the Meta Pixel, we will update this policy to describe them and any related choices before they are activated.
We do not send credit reports, Social Security numbers, identification documents, tax return details, or private financial information to advertising platforms through website-tracking tools.
You can delete cookies and browser storage at any time through your browser settings.
6. Data Security
We use safeguards intended to protect personal information, including:
- collecting sensitive client documents through secure systems: our Credit Repair Cloud platform for credit services and TaxDome for tax and document-based services; and
- storing credit reports that we download to prepare your analysis in a regular local folder, not a OneDrive-synced folder, on a computer that has Windows Device Encryption enabled and is used only by our owner.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Information Retention
We keep personal information for as long as we need it to provide the services you request and to maintain our business records. We keep records longer where the law requires us to, including tax-preparation and credit-services records, and we do not delete records that we may be legally required to keep.
Contact information that our forms store in your browser remains until you clear your browser data, and a related identifier cookie may remain for up to one year (see Section 5).
8. Your Privacy Choices and Requests
You have the right to:
- Request access to your personal information
- Request corrections to inaccurate information
- Request removal of your data where applicable
You can also:
- unsubscribe from promotional emails using the opt-out option in the email;
- reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving text messages;
- leave the optional text-message consent checkbox unchecked on our forms; and
- delete cookies and browser storage in your browser settings.
To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 12. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some information may need to be kept to meet legal or regulatory obligations.
9. Third-Party Websites
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites.
Consultation scheduling takes place on Calendly, and client registration and portal access take place on Credit Repair Cloud. These services operate their own pages, which may use their own cookies, analytics and advertising technologies under their own privacy policies. The same applies to Credit Hero Score, to the social media sites we link to (Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok), and to the official IRS pages linked from our Tax Preparation page.
10. Children’s Privacy
Our services are intended for adults. When our new website launches, its Free Learning Center will include general money articles written for younger readers (for example, the “Money Starts Early” articles); like all Learning Center articles, they will be readable without providing any personal information, and the Learning Center will contain no forms. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Tax preparation clients may provide information about their children and other dependents as needed to prepare their returns.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
